Based on the survey, we found that Homesickness problem is really common problem that most international student faced with. International student found that there are many different things between their home country and Melbourne especially traditional food that most of them could not find the same taste as their hometown. In this post, three main tips of dealing with homesickness will be described such as avoiding spending too much time at your room, learning somethings new and positive thinking.
First of all, it might be tempting to treat of your room as your own little safe haven, however staying in too much will only serve to make you feel worse. Isolating yourself will make your feelings more intense, as you will spend even more time pondering on what you miss about home. Trying to keep yourself busy by taking part in social activities, studying at the library rather than in your room, getting a part time job or even trying out some extracurricular activities. From this point of view, it is suggested that international student should not just spend your too much time at your own, but you should try to find something more interested to cut down your feeling.
Secondly, learning somethings new is another solution that can make international students reduce feeling of homesickness too. For example, they can try to expose themselves with somethings that they never did before. Sometime, learning cooking your own food is also interested things to do. Maybe you can try to cook traditional food from your own country by asking your mother or searching from internet. Those things could help international students forget about missing their home for a while too.

The last solution that is essentials for international students to avoiding homesickness feeling is being positive or having positive thinking. Of course, it can be easier said than done, but being positive and having positive thinking are really important for you to combat homesickness in a major way. Staying positive also makes you a pleasure to be around, so you'll probably find it much easier to make new friends (which also helps to keep homesickness at bay).
In conclusion, there were three significant solutions for international students to solve with their homesickness feeling: avoiding spending too much time at your room, learning somethings new and positive thinking. Firstly, you should try to be more active outside your room rather than just spend your too much time at your room since you can make you more depress and missing what you used to have. Another thing is learning somethings new because it could help you forget your missing feeling because you have other things that you have more attention. Lastly, being positive is really effectiveness solutions for homesickness because it could help you think much better and also help you easier to make new friends. 1. Check your word choice in some of these paragraphs - 'Depend on' is the wrong word (it should be 'based on...'). Also don't write your suggestions in the second person/as commands as you are not making suggestions to the reader but making suggestions in general. To do this your should write in the passive.

    e.g. it is advised/suggested/recommended that...
