Rationale of the Survey

There are many problems that International Students met when they moved from their country to aboard such as financing, culture stock and homesickness. For the time beginning, we chose Homesickness and International Student to talk and discuss in this blog.

For sure that most international students faced with Homesickness problem and they also have many different solutions to solve it. Therefore, the issue in the topic that we will focus on is how international student deal with Homesickness.

Most international students just left their home for the first time so, they must feel homesickness the most since they used to have their parents and relatives nearby them. Some people chose crying and being stress as the solution of homesickness. Those solutions really effected to their health and their study. Therefore, we decide to consider the solutions of dealing with homesickness to give some suggestions and some advises to those who cannot solve with this problem.

We are expecting to hear some solutions that most international will do and also get some advises for other students who could not get over with homesickness and get to know how difference between their own country and Melbourne too.

Moreover, there are some survey questions to ask International Students since we want to clarify some information such as General Information about participants, for example: gender, age and nationally. What is more, we also want to know about how long they have left their hometown and when they missed their home.

In addition, we also want to know what they miss the most and what the differences between their country and Melbourne since it is also the reason why they feel homesickness.

We also ask participants about how they deal with homesickness. Lastly, we ask them for some advises for other international students who need to deal with homesickness.

  1. Some of the points you make in this paragraph are interesting and may be relevant to the topic of your project with referenced supporting ideas but this information needs to go in the summary of your survey findings section. In the rationale section you need to clearly state the following things.
    1) Your topic clearly explained and identified
    2)Reason you chose this topic
    3) What you expect to find out from your research

  2. An improved rationale of your survey which only needs some grammatical changes to sound clearer. Think about using more transition language in your paragraphs to indicate your ideas to the reader. Also don't include 'etc...' in your writing as this is not academic. In this section it is unnecessary to include example questions from your survey to justify why you chose the topic. Perhaps try to write a little more about what you expected to find out from your surveys
